Siemens Automation & Drives (A&D) present the Sinamics S120 AC Drive for high-performance single-axis applications. The drive expands the Sinamics S120 system into an integrated modular drives system for single-axis and multi-axis applications.
With Sinamics S120 AC Drive, the Sinamics drives family from Siemens A&D now also encompasses converters for high-performance single-axis applications. The drives are used in all sectors, for example, in packaging machines, centrifuges, extruders, mixers and kneaders. Thanks to its modular design, the new drive type is as suitable for multi-axis applications as it is for synchronous and motion control applications.
