Researchers at the Institute of Polymer Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, while researching possible improvements for production technologies for composite components, discovered anomalies in the flow properties of various resins during infusion moulding. They have used this knowledge to design a novel method of building large composite structures.
