CCR's quarterly meeting, March 5-7, at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point/Laguna Niguel, Calif., included updates from FASB Member George Batavick and IASB Member Mary Barth, a lengthy session on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), led by Joel Osnoss and D.J. Gannon of Deloitte. Additional agenda items: updates on FAS 157 implementation issues and discussion of the interim recommendations of the SEC's Advisory Committee on Improvements to Financial Reporting and the PCAOB Standing Advisory Group meeting.
