'Quick Frozen Foods International' founder and publisher Edwin W. Williams died of cardiac arrest at the age of 88 on Mar 31, 1997. He left behind him an illustrious career in the food processing, marketing and publishing industries that spanned generations. However, it was his decision to launch 'Quick Frozen Foods International' that made his name a by-word in the frozen food business worldwide. Among the awards he has received from the food industry are the Birds Eye Silver Tankard Club Award, International Frozen Food Assn Leadership Award, NARW Excellence in Journalism Award and the Igloo Award for Meritorious Service to the Frozen Food Industry.
