Our city has been in the national news a lot lately, but we didn't need those glowing articles in The New York Times, Money magazine or other big-shot publications to tell us what we've known all along: Sarasota really is the best of all possible small cities.
We editors are all longtime Sarasotans who pride ourselves on knowing every nook and cranny of this great town. But we're always surprised and delighted by the new discoveries our readers divulge in their answers to this annual poll.
