NICARAGUA: MINISTRY OF HEALTH SEEKS LOAN

The Ministry of Health is seeking a $15 million loan from the International Development Association (IDA), the World Bank's soft loan window, for a Health Sector Project which would: (1) strengthen the Ministry (2) strengthen maternal and child health care; (3) develop an efficient pharmaceutical supply system; (4) rehabilitate and maintain hospitals and health facilities; (5) provide technical to the Social Security Institute (INSSBI).
