Antigua & Barbuda Government officials have taken issue with the World Bank's position that it would not be eligible for emergency financing to increase security at airports and other facilities because it is classified as an "upper middle-income" country, reports CMC (Dec. 12, 2001). Prime Minister Lester Bird said the Government will continue to fight its case with World Bank President James Wolfensen.
