0 Comments | Caribbean Update, August, 2002
A J$270 million investment in a new multi-media news center will allow Radio Jamaica Group to consolidate its radio and TV news broadcasting operation under a single roof, and save millions in recurrent costs, said managing director Lester Spaulding, reports The Jamaica Observer (June 26, 2002). The facility, located at the corner of Lyndhurst Road and Beechwood Avenue in Cross Roads, Kingston, will be contiguous with the present radio broadcast building, and will be directly facing the new offices that will house The Jamaica Observer newspaper.
