American Airlines on March 3 said it will begin new service between Kingston, Jamaica, and Ft Lauderdale, Fla. on June 1, subject to government approval. American will fly the route daily with its 148-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, complementing current service from Miami to Kingston and Montego Bay, said Peter Dolara, Senior VP Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America.
