US$70 million IDB loans approved.(DOMINICAN REPUBLIC)

The Senate of the DR has approved US$70 million in two loans from the Inter-American Development Bank for for road rebuilding and maintenance, and for the emergency programs dealing with the effects of Tropical Storms Noel and Olga, reports DR1 Daily News (March 26, 2008). Both loans were submitted by President Fernandez, and have a six-year grace period.
