Boston Scientific broke ground recently on a US$5 million expansion of its Dorado factory, which employs 700, to put new sterilization capability in place for future production. The plant manufactures cardiac leads to treat various forms of cardiovascular disease, reports Caribbean Business (April 23, 2009):
