The St. Kitts Tourism Authority on May 6 said it has established a Twitter account under the username "StKittsTourism," to provide media, travel agents, tour operators and potential travelers with continued news and information. Created in 2006, Twitter is a free social networking, micro-blogging service that enables users to send and read other users' updates known as "tweets," text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
