Starbucks Corp. (SC) Senior VP David Olsen started working for SC in the mid-1970's. He formulated the Espresso Roast coffee, which is now considered as the leading coffee product in the US. Olsen evaluates coffee products based on their aroma, body and flavor. Olsen revealed that SC maintains the high quality standards of its coffee products by giving its employees the proper technical expertise.
