CALIFORNIA CUISINE PYRAMID DEBUTS.(from Center for Human Nutrition)(Brief Article)

A new plant-based food pyramid has been designed by the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of California at Los Angeles, reports Environmental Nutrition. It calls for at least seven servings a day of fruits and vegetables, six to 11 servings of whole-grain breads and cereals, protein-rich foods in amounts appropriate to support lean body mass, and taste enhancers for flavor.
