As an Internet user, are you feeling ever so slightly vulnerable? Well, you should be feeling very vulnerable! Within the past month (I am writing in late May for publication in July), two rather nasty viruses were turned loose on the Internet. These were the "ILoveYou" or "Love Bug" virus that hit the Net on May 4th and a variant of "ILoveYou" called "NewLove" or "Herbie" that descended a couple of weeks later. Although called viruses, both were technically "worms." Regardless of nomenclature, both infected large numbers of computers creating havoc worldwide.
