AWWA director reappointed to trade committee.(Washington Report)

The Department of Commerce's Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC) has reappointed Jon Runge, director of communications, marketing, and customer service for the American Water Works Association (AWWA), to the committee.

ETTAC serves as advisor to the U.S. government on policies and programs to expand exports of environmental products and services. Together, the AWWA and ETTAC can work on trade issues that affect the water industry in America.

"AWWA has worked closely with the Department of Commerce to identify and develop trade objectives and interests for the U.S. water industry," said Runge. "Safe and reliable drinking water is a global need, and AWWA is pleased to help develop business relationships that benefit manufacturers...
