ENERGY : NGOS AND FEDERATIONS FORMULATE ENERGY SHOPPING LISTS.

The Council's agreement on European energy policy has postponed important decisions on completing' the internal energy market and national targets for renewables. NGOs and federations thus continue to mark positions. On the thorny question of ownership unbundling, Eurelectric, for instance, is set to publish a heavily critical position paper, whilst member companies attempt to cut short the European Commission's arguments for ownership unbundling by presenting a regional model for "seamless cooperation between transmission system operators".
