ENERGY : COMMISSION OUT TO GREEN' FOSSIL FUELS.

The European Commission promised a greener' future for fossil fuels at the third Fossil Fuels Forum in Berlin on 8 October. The forum, a Commission initiative, showcases solutions for fossil fuels aimed at fighting climate change and ensuring security of supply for high-level participants from member states, candidate countries, the European Commission and major energy companies. The forum comes as the Commission prepares a series of documents to boost early demonstration and deployment of CO2 capture and storage (CCS) technologies.
