In this edition of Europe Energy we publish the second part of the Draft Council Decision on a specific non-nuclear energy Research, Technical Development and Demonstration programme for 1994-1998. Part one of the programme for "Technologies for cleaner and more efficient energy production and use" (94/0089(CNS)) was published in Europe Energy N 422. The 20 sectoral programmes of the European Union's 4th RTD&D Framework Programme are divided into four activities: specific research programmes, international cooperation, dissemination and exploitation of findings and promotion of mobility and training for researchers.
