Multifunctional simulators for training personnel for nuclear power stations in Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia and the Czech Republic are being provided by a Western European consortium made up of BELGATOM, CORYS, SIEMENS and THOMSON under the European Commission-coordinated TACIS and PHARE technical and economic assistance programmes. Under the ECU 8 million project, simulators of 8 units of VVER pressurised water reactors will be installed at six sites by December 1996, according to the Belgian company BELGATOM. One VVER 230 simulator is destined for Novovoronezh in Russia, another for Kozloduy in Bulgaria, one VVER 230 and one 213 for Kola in Russia, one VVER 230 and one 213 for Bohunice in Slovakia, one VVER 213 for Rovno in the Ukraine and another for Dukovany...
