Summary: "The only problem with Mochovce is money." This was the short and sweet message from a senior delegation of nuclear experts from Slovakia, in Brussels on April 25 to give the European Parliament an update on Slovak intentions with regard to the partly-built nuclear power plant which the EU and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have been making plans to fund. The delegation repeated to the Parliament's Energy Committee that the Mochovce plant would be completed, and insisted that whichever option the Slovak Government chose, international safety standards would be met. It also made clear that a decision is imminent.
