* The International Energy Agency urged Sweden to take a clear decision on its phasing-out of nuclear power in the report Energy policies of IEA countries - Sweden - 1996 review. The report says that uncertainty stemming from the 1980 referendum to phase out all nuclear power in the country by the year 2010 has hampered long-term planning and investment in the energy and other sectors, but expresses optimism that deliberations in Sweden's Energy Commission and Parliament before the end of this year will result in a clear strategy.
