NUCLEAR: RESULTS OF IAEA INQUIRY INTO PAKS IMPACT.

The Hungarian authorities and the sub-contractor Framatom ANP are responsible for the leak of radioactive gas in April from the Paks nuclear power station, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Budapest. This leak, on April 10, during the cleaning of fuel cells at the power station a hundred kilometres south of Budapest, did not leave any victims but did cause widespread concern in Hungary. The Government in Budapest called on the IAEA to conduct an inquiry onto the incident.
