EU OIL PRODUCT PRICES CONTINUE TO FALL.

The latest Oil Bulletin issued by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Transport and Energy on February 16 shows a moreorless across-the-board continuation of average petroleum product prices in the EU in the first half of February. Only average pre-tax prices for Euro-super unleaded petrol (octane rating 95) continued to rise, to Euro 288.16 per 1,000 litres from Euro 286.33 two weeks earlier.

As at February 16, diesel prices were down further to an average of Euro 283.07/1,000 litres, compared with 288.51 on February 2. Heating oil prices continued to fall, coming down to Euro 239.07/1,000 litres on average, compared with Euro 250.78 two weeks earlier.
