George Washington University Law School Event Draws Scholars and Practitioners

The George Washington University Law School's Center on Sustainability, the first program of its kind at a U.S. law school, held its inaugural conference on "Smart Growth and the Law" in Washington, D.C. recently.

The event brought together top scholars and practitioners from around the country to explore key legal issues surrounding smart growth. Over the course of the day, panelists examined Legal/Jurisdictional Framework, Environmental Issues, Economic Issues and Equity Issues related to sprawl and smart growth.
