Revised Plan Ensures Funding For Highest Priorities
An updated NLC Strategic Plan, which identifies both priorities for 2001 and ongoing commitments that emerged from the original plan, will be available at the upcoming Congress of Cities.
The updated plan was approved by the Board of Directors in July in conjunction with adoption of the FY 2001 operating budget.
NLC Past President Cathy Reynolds, who coordinates plan oversight for the NLC Officers, said the updated plan is "completely in sync with the operating budget which ensures that funds will be dedicated to highest priorities."
