Government Purchasing Alliance offers new contract on auto parts.

The U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance, NLC's national purchasing cooperative for dries and towns, has added auto parts and accessories to its growing list of products and services available at highly competitive prices.

After a nationally advertised competitive solicitation, Charlotte, N.C., awarded a contract for parts and accessories for automobiles and light duty trucks to AutoZone. The contract was competitively bid and awarded through the purchasing alliance program and is available for use by cities, counties, schools and other public agencies without the need for additional solicitation.
