AMADEUS IN GERMAN COMPUTERISED RESERVATION SYSTEM DEAL
Transport Europe, July, 1995
AMADEUS, the computerised reservation system which brings together IBERIA, LUFTHANSA and AIR FRANCE, said it has signed a strategic alliance agreement with START, the German computerised reservation system group which is jointly owned by DEUTSCHE BAHN, the German railways, LUFTHANSA, the German airline, and TIJT, a German tour operator. The START system is linked to 14,000 German travel agencies.
