St. Onge, Ruff and Associates (SORA) recently completed a comprehensive master planning analysis for J & B Wholesale in St. Michael, MN.
J & B Wholesale had begun construction of a 25,000 square foot freezer addition to their meat distribution facility. An optimized layout was designed for the new building configuration, and a long-range "optimized site" layout was developed to encompass anticipated future expansion needs. SORA evaluated all facets of warehouse operation, including equipment, product slotting, methods and control systems.
SORA, a full-service engineering firm specializing in the planning, design and construction of processing, warehousing and distribution facilities, is headquartered in York, PA and has a west coast office in Yakima, Washington.
