New Director of Learning and Development joins staff at SWCS.(SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION SOCIETY IN ACTION)(Brief article)

Dewayne Johnson is the new Director of Professional Development for the Society. Dewayne has worked for and with environmental organizations for more than ten years. He has spent the last five years as executive director of the Iowa Recycling Association.

Dewayne received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Drake University. He currently serves on Drake University's International Advisory Council for the School of Education and on the Advisory Board for the Recycling and Reuse Technology Transfer Center at the University of Northern Iowa. Dewayne lives in Des Moines with his wife Amy and 4-year-old son, Lucas.
