ACE HARDWARE CORP., Oak Brook, Ill.--opened an onsite child-care operation for its employees' children at the Ace Hardware Retail Support Center (RSC) in Prescott Valley, Ariz. The Prescott Valley facility is the first of the cooperative's 17 retail support centers to offer on-site child care.

The child care facility, which can accommodate as many as 90 children, is licensed to provide services through a partnership with the Prescott YMCA. In November, a grand opening ceremony was held with the mayors of Prescott and Prescott Valley, the executive director of the Prescott YMCA and Ace Hardware Vice President Dave Meyer in attendance.
