* Robert Nardelli, the new president and ceo of the Home Depot, will serve as keynote presenter during this year's INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE WEEK[SM] to be held Aug. 12-14 in Chicago.
Nardelli, who also serves on Home Depot's board of directors, recently succeeded the company's co-founder, Arthur Blank, at the helm of the world's largest home improvement retailer. Prior to joining Home Depot, Nardelli worked for GE Power Systems, where, as president and ceo, he transformed the company's GE division into a $14.8 billion worldwide leader in the energy industry.
