RESTORATION HARDWARE INC., Corte Madera, Calif. -- reported net sales for the first quarter 2003 were $81.8 million, an 18 percent increase from the same period last year. Comparable-store sales for the first quarter increased 11.9 percent and direct-to-customer sales, including catalog and Internet, increased 72 percent to $11.3 million.
