* Ace Hardware Corp. and The Sherwin-Williams Company have announced a new partnership that will enable Ace retailers to sell the paint manufacturer's Pratt & Lambert brand beginning later this fall.

The program will expand and reinforce the positioning of Ace stores as prime destinations for paint purchases, according to the hardware cooperative.

"We have documented that brand choice for our consumers is a critical element in running a successful in store paint department and helps us more effectively compete in this important retail category," said Lori Bossmann, Ace vice president, merchandising.
