Ace Hardware Corp. and Little League Baseball are teaming up to provide hundreds of lucky pint-size players in five U.S. communities with renovated and updated playing fields this spring.
As winners of the Ace/Little League "Fields for the Future" contest, five Little League fields will receive $2,500 worth of Ace products and a full day's work from volunteers to help repair the field based on the individual field's needs.
These fields range from a ballpark specifically designed for disabled youth play, one used for a newly introduced girl's softball team and a diamond severely damaged by recent Florida hurricanes.
