Ray Griffith, Ace Hardware Corp. president and CEO, announced March 8 in Dallas that the co-op will be featured on the April 10 episode of NBC's "The Apprentice" and that Bill Rancic, season one winner, has been "hired" as national spokesman for several community outreach initiatives.
Ace Hardware, which is hoping to attract a younger mix of customers to its stores with this promotional partnership, will become the first company to utilize its appearance on the show to launch a national charitable campaign on "The Apprentice."
Before the April 10 episode (NBC, 9-10 p.m. ET/PT), Rancic will visit 10 high schools across the country to inspire students with tips and advice for mapping a winning future and following personal dreams. Ace Hardware stores in...
