Motorcycle enthusiasts can be remembered for their life on the highway with a "farewell ride" in a motorcycle hearse, made by Tombstone Hearse Co. (tombstonehearse.com). The 19th-century carriage-style hearse is pulled by a Harley Davidson converted into a trike.
"People see it and go, 'Wow, this can be really cool and different for my dad, for my uncle,'" Michael Moloney of Long Island's Moloney
Family Funeral Homes, which bought one of the hearses for $100,000, told the Associated Press.
The hearse has been in procession with more than 4,000 motorcyles, but it has also been used for veterans and little old ladies, says founder Jack Feather.
