The joint venture between Germany's Institute for Operations Research and Management (INFORM) and New York's SBS International has seen the launch of a new generation of ground handling systems following the installation worldwide of more than 70 INFORM Transport Efficiency Support Systems (TESS).

RampAssist is a modular designed system which can be used either as an integrated resource management system, or with individual modules that plan staff and equipment levels, suggest staff rostering and offer real-time allocation on the day of operation. This allows bottlenecks to be highlighted well in advance.

Frankfurt Airport security services and aircraft cleaning company, Wisser, were the first to implement the system.
