* Bournemouth is the fastest growing UK airport according to statistics released recently by the Civil Aviation Authority. CAA figures show that passenger figures of 265,000 passengers in 1997 compared with 162,000 in 1996, a growth of 63%. London City is second with growth of 59.9%.

* Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL) has reported that the volume of inbound cargo through Kai Tak International surged in February to 50,558 tonnes, a 25% increase compared to the same month in 1997.
