Changi T2 upgrade.(Singapore Changi Airport's Terminal 2 )

A S$240m (US$151m) refurbishment of Singapore Changi Airport's Terminal 2 (T2) has been completed. The project, which began in April 2003, was carried out by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to give the facility what it described as a "major facelift", involving extensive improvements to the terminal's "look and feel" while introducing new commercial areas.
Singapore's Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Raymond Lim, visited Changi to unveil a plaque marking the official completion of the T2 project on September 13. CAAS issued a statement saying that T2 was upgraded to make the terminal even more user friendly for passengers and other clients, and to add capacity to the Departure/Transit Mall.
