Richard Heard, the Managing Director of Birmingham International Airport was killed in a road accident while driving to work on the morning of January 18.
His airport colleagues expressed their deep regret at his loss and a press release stated: "Richard was a wonderful person, who brought us strong leadership with a human touch. Our immediate thoughts are with Richard's family, at this sad and difficult time."
