ADT Automotive Inc and ADESA Corp have withdrawn from the Auto Auction Services Corp to form their own partnership that would provide online services. ADESA is the 3rd largest auction company next to ADT. The ADT/ADESA alliance divides the automobile auction industry into two technological groups. ADT and ADESA plan to develop a computer system that would enhance the ADT Lion program, while Auto Auction will develop its own software and a Web site.
