ASTON MARTIN MAY ADD THIRD MODEL TO ITS LINEUP, REITZLE SAYS.(Brief Article)

FRANKFURT - Aston Martin, Ford's ``boutique'' English luxury-car marque, may get a new model and extra production to support it.

The company plans to produce a third model - as yet unnamed - to supplement its DB and V-8 series sports cars, said Wolfgang Reitzle, chairman of the Premier Automotive Group.

At a volume of about 700 cars a year, Aston Martin is maybe a ``little too exclusive,'' Reitzle said during a dinner at the Frankfurt auto show.

If Aston Martin is to expand, it will need more capacity at its English manufacturing facilities in Newport Pagnell and Bloxham.

Reitzle said he is prepared to request capital from Ford Motor Co. - Aston Martin's corporate parent - to expand production.
