Subaru of America Inc. has replaced Saab Cars USA Inc. as the primary sponsor of the award-winning Gary Fisher Mountain Bike Racing Team. Subaru vehicles not only will carry the biking team during the 2001 racing season but also will be featured in Gary Fisher catalogs and promotional materials.
Bill Cyphers, Subaru vice president of marketing, says the Gary Fisher brand will have a presence at upcoming Subaru events, including the Outback Rendezvous, a customer marketing event similar to DaimlerChrysler's Camp Jeep. The Fisher bike team also will make appearances at Subaru dealerships.
