German auto suppliers Robert Bosch GmbH and Beru AG have made changes to their executive ranks.
Franz Fehrenbach next year will replace Hermann Scholl as CEO of Robert Bosch GmbH, the company said on Thursday, Dec. 12.
Fehrenbach, 53, will take over from Scholl, 67, on July 1, the company said.
Scholl, who has headed Bosch since 1993, will switch to the company's supervisory board and be recommended as the board's new chairman.
Current supervisory board chairman, Wolfgang Eychmueller, will step down after 25 years of service, the company said.
Bosch, of Stuttgart, Germany, ranked No. 2 on the Automotive News list of top 100 global original equipment suppliers with sales of $18 billion.
