AutoNation seals deal with credit unions
LOS ANGELES - Credit Union Direct Lending has entered a partnership with AutoNation Inc., of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the nation's largest dealership group, to offer credit union online financing at 63 California auto dealerships.
Credit Union Direct Lending, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., is a point-of-sale lending network for credit unions. It does business with 1,985 dealerships and 262 credit unions in California, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Florida, Minnesota and Virginia.
In 2002, credit unions funded 177,011 contracts for more than $3.3 billion through Credit Union Direct Lending, which offers online credit applications and automated credit...
