Takata chooses IOC
DETROIT - Takata Inc. has selected Internet Operations Center Inc. of Southfield, Mich., to provide information technology services for its supplier portal.
Takata suppliers use the portal for secure access to a collection of custom Web-based applications aimed at reducing costs, improving quality and getting products to market faster.
IOC will develop and support supplier portal applications.
Takata makes seat belts, airbag systems and steering wheels.
Toyota distributor picks Reynolds
DAYTON, Ohio - Reynolds and Reynolds Co. has been chosen by Southeast Toyota Distributors LLC to develop and install its Scion Web sites.
Scion is a new Toyota product line aimed at young buyers.
