Like many other dealerships, Burt Automotive Network wants to attract more Latino buyers. But the nation's largest Hispanic-owned dealership group is doing more than wishing.

The Centennial, Colo., company is working with the local Hispanic chamber of commerce to visit schools and churches. Representatives of the chamber and dealership group teach Hispanic consumers the basics of buying and financing vehicles. Burt was ranked the largest Hispanic-owned dealership group in the United States by Hispanic Business magazine.

"We're a local business, and we get involved in the local community,'' says Hank Held, Burt's senior vice president and corporate legal counsel. "I won't kid you - it's good business, too.''
