Camry hybrid sticker: $26,480

LOS ANGELES - The hybrid version of the 2007 Toyota Camry sedan will have a sticker price of $26,480, including shipping, when it goes on sale in May.

The Camry hybrid's sticker price is about $5,000 less than the sticker price for the hybrid version of the 2006 Honda Accord.

GM will build plant in Mexico

SAN LUIS POTOSI, Mexico - General Motors will start building an assembly plant here in May for compact and subcompact vehicles for sale in Mexico, said a spokesman for GM Mexico.

The $650 million plant should open in 2008, GM said. It will assemble about 30 vehicles an hour and employ about 1,800 people.
