Cosma buys Polish plant
TORONTO - Cosma International, a unit of Magna International Inc., has acquired Vyroba Automotivnych Blotnikov, of Tychy, Poland.
The Vyroba Automotivnych plant is near Cosma's assembly operations and adds about 150,000 square feet of space. This acquisition expands Cosma's body-structure stamping capacity and increases the company's presence in eastern Europe.
The plants are expected to work together to provide global automotive customers body, chassis and module capabilities.
Cosma, of Aurora, Ontario, is a metal-forming supplier of body, chassis and engineering services.
